The food was much better than I expected after reading the negative reviews. Everything we ordered for lunch and dinner tasted great, and the portions were generous, so it’s definitely worth trying. The hotel is right across from Baindur railway station. Our room was spacious and clean, though it was missing basic things for the price, like toiletries and a kettle. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom either.

The food quality was very poor. We ordered three chicken biryanis, two veg fried rice, one egg fried rice, and one veg meal. The biryani was the worst I’ve had, the fried rice was just okay, and the meal came with only one side dish. This bar hotel is the only place nearby Byndoor railway station. People travelling to and from Mookambika temple end up using it because there’s no other choice, and the hotel crew take advantage of that.

After a really bad fried rice on our first day, we went back the next day and reminded them what had happened. They took our complaint seriously, apologized, and seemed ready to make changes. A well-dressed gentleman brought out the dishes and kept checking how the food was. The food, service, and attitude were all excellent that time. The hotel is right in front of the expanding Byndorr Mookambika Road railway station. Highly recommended.

My whole family and I had terrible vomiting and stomach infections for five days after eating dinner here once. Please stay away from the food. Better to go hungry. Zero stars for the food.

This place is highly overrated and isn’t worth even 40%-50% of the tariff they charge. It’s an old building, and the basement parking feels really scary. The location is right opposite the railway station, which looks like a garbage dump yard. I wouldn’t recommend it for families.
