The room’s geyser didn’t work, so we had to bathe in another room. The staff helped with our luggage, but that didn’t make up for the poor upkeep, dirty bathroom, and lights that barely worked. Our door wouldn’t lock, which left us feeling unsafe, and the lift was broken even though we were on the second floor. At 9 AM, while we were tired from travelling, staff called and asked us to move our car. This hotel in Zirakpur spoiled the end of an otherwise lovely six-day trip to Manali. For what we paid, the basic facilities and cleanliness were unacceptable. I’d never recommend it to anyone returning from Manali.

Booking.com showed pictures of a different room. The one I was given had no geyser, torn wallpaper, poor lighting, and no cleanliness. They interrupted me three times to check my booking ID. You can hear people talking outside because the rooms aren’t soundproof, and there’s no phone to call reception. The walls look awful too. A thoroughly pathetic stay.

We could barely sleep because of the loud noise at night, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for families. Our room was dirty, and we had to ask them to replace the stained bed linen. Wall panels were coming loose, with tape stuck all over them. The reception staff felt intimidating and unwelcoming, though one of the waiters was helpful. The place seems to be going downhill fast.

Please don’t book this terrible hotel. The room service was awful, staff behaved extremely badly, and none of the rooms had working AC.
