The service was the weak point during our stay in the 3rd week of January. We had a period without electricity, the heater didn’t work properly, and food service was very limited. Maybe that was because it was off-season, but those things need attention. The cottage itself has a lovely design, with a sitting area downstairs and a comfortable bed and attached toilet upstairs. The lawn and campfire setup made it a relaxing place for families and groups of friends. Ziro’s peaceful natural surroundings add to the appeal, and it’s a great concept for a cozy cottage stay. The resort has a lot of potential, and we’d consider returning in peak season if service and facilities improve.

The night view was beautiful, and the cozy cottage room seems especially suited to couples. Breakfast was tasty too. Thanks to the kasa team for taking such good care of us. We’ll come back with family.

Surrounded by nature, Kasa Resort in Ziro seems like a peaceful place for a getaway in the scenic Ziro Valley. It appears well maintained, with comfortable rooms and a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. The hospitality and food are said to be very good too. It looks like a cozy choice for anyone visiting Ziro who wants a memorable stay.

There’s a lot of potential here, but running the property well seems to be the problem. They’ve completed some of the upgrade work, though not all of it, and the operation lacked dedication. There didn’t seem to be many staff, perhaps because there weren’t many guests or it was off-season. Still, the staff tried to help as much as they could. I visited in late January and checked out early to move to another property. Management needs to improve, along with some minor infrastructure upgrades.

The rooms weren’t properly maintained, and they didn’t feel clean or hygienic. Food was too expensive for its quality and quantity. A litre of drinking water cost Rs.30 even though the MRP was Rs.20. Normal milk tea was Rs.50, and one piece of papad was Rs.50.
