The Palm Residence

After a day walking the busy streets of Karada, we loved returning to the calm comfort of our apartment. We stayed five days at Palm Residence Baghdad, and it made our whole Iraq trip feel special. Our two-bedroom place had a sitting area and kitchen, and we liked it much more than a hotel. The owner gave the building a modern feel while keeping the charm and character of Iraqi architecture. The decor throughout is high quality, thoughtful, and beautifully done, and the location is right in the heart of the city. Staff greeted us with a warm smile whenever we came in. We also met the owner a few times, which made the place feel especially welcoming. Fresh Iraqi samoon bread brought to us every morning was such a sweet, caring touch. We can’t wait to come back.

We stayed eight days for work, and after more than five years of visiting Baghdad, this was the first time we’d felt so comfortable. Everything was new and super clean. Every staff member we dealt with, from management and reception to the cleaning team, was so nice and helpful. Having a washing machine was useful too. Best value for money I’ve had in Baghdad!

We booked over WhatsApp, and the driver who picked us up from the airport also took us back when we left. My family and I stayed here in September 2024, and we feel lucky to have found such amazing accommodation. The apartments were in new condition, air conditioned, and had power around the clock. Service was top of the line, and every staff member we encountered was helpful. Palm Residence is right in the center of everything. There’s great coffee downstairs from Ridha Alwan, great Kahi and Gaymar across the road early in the morning, and a supermarket next door that’s open 24/7. The stay made our time in Iraq super special. Thank you, Palm Residence!

The apartments are luxurious, clean, and new. Ours had two bedrooms, two toilets, a kitchen, and a beautiful dining area, for 200,000ID per night. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend this place.
