The staff were kind, supportive, and nice. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well decorated, and the hotel is well maintained with the amenities you’d expect. It meets every expectation I have of a top rated hotel, though it isn’t as luxurious as comparable places in Baghdad like Babylon Rotana.

The hotel has several restaurants. I tried three, and they were all really good. There’s also a nice gym, sauna, and swimming pool. It’s a very clean, quality place, with professional and friendly staff. For a visit to the lovely city of Basra, I think it’s the best place to stay, whether for business or leisure. I remember my first stay during its soft opening in 2022. Wishing everyone the best, and I look forward to staying here again and again.

We used to go to Olive restaurant at the hotel for the quality Italian food and the calm, romantic atmosphere. Since shisha started being served, the place has gone downhill and attracted the wrong customers. The restaurant also breaks the rules by not having a separate smoking area. Service isn’t as professional as it used to be.

It’s the best hotel in Basra, and the price reflects that. If you want the best the city has to offer, this is the place. It has many great restaurants and amenities.
