Khani Hotel

For a business trip, it does the job as a good-value hotel, though the experience felt pretty average overall.

The food, service, and location were all good. The price, though, should be lower. Two friends and I paid $85 for a room, even though it wasn’t summer. I think about $45 would be right for winter. That came to $170 for two nights, just for sleeping and breakfast.

The mountain view was lovely, and breakfast was enough for us. The room was spacious and very clean. Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly and smiled. Good value for the price, good Wi-Fi, and a good location. Everything was great!

This was my second stay, and I was comfortable both times. At $50 a night, the price was decent. It’s centrally located in Duhok, very close to the main bazaar, and has its own open-air parking. The receptionist was kind, polite, and quick to get us into our rooms. Both visits I was on the sixth floor, in rooms with the same interior: a decent amount of space, double bed, central AC, couch, TV, mini fridge for drinks, and a clean toilet. Staff were helpful. Breakfast was okay, though the menu wasn’t very big.
