The room itself was a problem: I couldn't adjust the temperature without calling reception and asking for a man to come change it. I was freezing the night before, and at 3 a.m., half asleep, I wasn't comfortable calling a stranger to my room. When I asked for an extra blanket the next day, they brought one with food stains. I had to specifically request a clean one, or they would have left me with a used, unwashed blanket. Housekeeping was awful. Even the pepper at breakfast still had soil on it and hadn't been washed. For that price, this is a terrible hotel, especially one claiming to be four stars. The food being unwashed made all of us sick.

We had an emergency and needed to stay an extra night while I was in the hospital, so I couldn't pay right away. The receptionist called our room and asked my little brother for money. She even brought up that he'd gone out to get water and snacks for our six-year-old brother. I found her very rude and unwelcoming. Whenever I had to ask her for something, it felt like being interrogated.

The pool, sauna, and steam room are among the best in town, and the restaurant and bar are great too. The food was fresh and the service excellent. Our rooms were super clean, and the staff were friendly and spoke English well. One of the best four-star hotels in Ainkawa by far. Highly recommended.

The restaurant has been under construction for what feels like years, with no end in sight, and the menu isn't great, though the chefs do their best to make good-quality meals. My main concern is management: many people work here for very low wages and get no promotions. The staff themselves, at reception, in the restaurant, gym, and housekeeping, all go beyond expectations and deserve five stars. It's the way management treats them that brings my rating down to one. I don't recommend staying here, and I'd encourage your organization to avoid it too.
