The main drawback was that during my week-long stay, they didn't change the towels daily. It felt like they were trying to save on laundry, and I hated that. Otherwise, Asenappar Hotel is a good place to stay in Ainkawa. It's right in the middle of the markets, so everything you need is just a few steps away. The rooms and decor are good, prices are reasonable, and breakfast is simple but offers different kinds of food. The staff are friendly and helpful. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Erbil for a week.

The management do a great job. Anwar keeps the facility in great shape and spotless. The location is really good, near most restaurants and shops, and the staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming.

We stayed for a couple of nights in July 2021, and the service was really bad. Most of the staff were rude, and the place was somewhat dirty. There was just one towel for two of us, so we had to ask for two each day. One day we forgot to ask, and they left only one again. The rooms weren't cleaned properly. They didn't change the bed covers or clean the floor, and one day they only made the bed and left. We saw a cockroach in the hallway once. The housekeeper stepped on it and left it there until the next day. The customer service was beyond terrible. Please stay away from this hotel.

It was the cleanest hotel of the five we checked, though I still found stains on the towels and sheets. The others were worse. Customer service was decent and could've been better. To me, that kind of service is common in Hewler, with staff too busy playing PUBG on their phones. A decent experience.

The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel was clean. The staff were friendly, especially yousif and karam. Service, location, and staff were all very good.
