The breakfast was good, and having pool hours set separately for each gender seems like a good idea. But when I went during my designated time, the person in charge told me to come back later because a family was using the pool. That wasn’t acceptable to me. I also asked to add half a day to my booking, but they only offered a full day. For a hotel meant to be four stars, my room wasn’t very clean.

The breakfast was really luxe, with everything you might want in the morning and a great view over Erbil. The pool and jacuzzi were warm, nice, and luxe, and the rooms had a nice view. But the bathroom was kind of nasty and old, and the rooms could use renovation too. The gym is very old, though okay, and the restaurant food is very expensive. It’s an amazing four-star hotel otherwise, with things nice and clean apart from the bathroom. I’d recommend coming here. About $70 a night.

Those were the best four days I’ve had in Erbil, at Darin hotel. The staff were friendly, especially the guy at the front desk. Breakfast is free and they bring it to your room in a perfect package. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

The breakfast was very good and had lots of options. The rooms were really dirty, though, and the bathrooms were disgusting.

The gym was out of service. My room wasn’t very clean either, and when I asked to have the sheets changed, no one did it.
