Parsian Kowsar Hotel Isfahan

The way reception treated us ruined the trip. I was recovering from surgery and had a visible bandage on my head, yet the receptionist questioned us in a degrading, intrusive way and repeatedly doubted that my wife and I were married. On our last day, after I had been staying with my family for three days, staff would not let my wife into the room I had paid for unless we proved she was my wife. I had returned to Iran after four years, and we were there despite the high cost. I understand cultural norms, but this felt humiliating and inhumane, with no excuse for such unprofessional behavior. I would strongly advise people who value respect and decent hospitality to reconsider staying here.

Walking along Char Bagh Abbasid after the hotel's tasty breakfast was a great start to the morning. I enjoyed the meals at both the hotel restaurant and the rooftop restaurant. Guest service was nice, and room service was acceptable. Overall, I'd call the stay somewhere between average and good.

The pillows were too hard, though that was my one improvement. The staff were great, the rooms clean, and the garden beautiful. Breakfast and the other food were delicious. The location made it easy to take a morning walk by the river. There are also a perfume shop with good prices, a flower shop with lovely arrangements, and a gift shop in the lobby.

I could walk to Naqsh-e Jahan Square, the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, and the Ali Qapu Palace in just a few minutes, so the location worked really well for seeing Isfahan. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was excellent each morning, and I enjoyed the Persian food there. My room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, a large well-appointed bathroom, and a nice city view. I arrived late in the evening, but check-in was quick and easy; the friendly staff member also gave me a brief rundown of the amenities. On my short stay at Parsian Kowsar Hotel, the staff were helpful and the room comfortable.
