Staff were so friendly, especially the morning front desk receptionist. She was hilarious and gave us really good recommendations. They can arrange taxis for less than you'd pay on the street. If noise bothers you, ask for a room away from reception. Walk east along the street and you'll find a great falafel shop, fruit stores, Iranian sweet shops, and a burger place. Lovely hotel, highly recommend it.

After 40 years of travelling around the Middle East, I'd say this is easily the best value and hospitality I've found in Esfahan. It's spotlessly clean, with an en suite room, fridge, air conditioning and heating controlled in the room, plus breakfast included. The staff are brilliant and can point you in the right direction. There's a bus stop right outside.

We felt so looked after here, and were comfortable and pampered throughout. The rooms are practical, and the staff will go out of their way to help with exchanging money, setting up desert tours, finding places to eat, getting directions to city sights, ironing shirts, and whatever else you need. What an experience. I'll come back as soon as I get the chance.

The front office staff were very helpful, and walking to the main square is easy along a shaded path. A taxi to the hotel cost 200000 rials from the airport and 200000 rials from the bus station. Viana Hotel is a clean, modern place near the center and close to the main tourist sights. Breakfast was adequate. The internet was a little slow.
