Waking up to the fjord and the mountains around it felt like a dream. The view was breathtaking, and the accommodation was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. I had an unforgettable stay. The location made it easy to enjoy both a peaceful setting and the town's highlights. Akureyri's lively streets, local shops, and cafes were close by, and scenic drives were easy to reach too. The hosts were welcoming and made everything go smoothly. Their tips for places to eat and things to see were spot-on and added a personal touch. For a quiet getaway with a beautiful view and warm hospitality, this is a lovely place. I can't wait to return and would recommend it to anyone visiting Akureyri.

We loved this place. The room was compact, but plenty big enough for two, and felt cozy, modern, and lovely. We came in June and had sunshine, with an incredible view across the fjord toward akureyri.

The owner was really kind, and we found the place clean and comfortable during our several days there in June. The view of the town and mountains is truly stunning. It sits across the fjord from Akureyri, so you can't walk into town from there. If that works for you, it's a wonderfully quiet spot.

The jacuzzi looking out at the view was such a treat, and the landlord made us feel very welcome. The place was well equipped too. We stayed for two nights around April and May, and would happily return.

We booked through AriBNB and were very happy with the guesthouse. The rooms were roomy and clean, the beds comfortable, and there's a private entrance. Across the bay, the view of Arkureyri is fabulous.
