The location made it easy to walk to the action, a supermarket, and a shopping mall. It’s a self-check-in hotel, and the place was clean, though on the small side. Parking is a little odd, but there are spots nearby. Check the signs so you remember to pay. I used the laundromat machines at the backpackers hostel down the street.

Nice, clean rooms for a good price, right in the city centre. They even had espresso pods in the room.

We spotted bed bugs on the bed before our first night’s sleep, so we left without staying overnight. Other reviews have mentioned rooms not being cleaned properly, so I’d check room 303 to make sure the bugs were dealt with and the room cleaned after our complaint. The guest house staff handled the complaint well and offered an immediate refund. Kudos to them.

The room had a sitting area, kitchen, table, and views of the street and mountains, and the location on the old town’s main street was great. There’s no elevator, so we were glad our bags were small enough to carry upstairs. Our one disappointment was the noise: in June, the bar across the street got busy after midnight, then people were loud and drinking in the streets until 3 AM. It kept us awake. Otherwise, a great stay.
