The cabin views were incredible, and the place was very clean. Our sofa bed was amazingly firm and comfortable, even for an adult who is 6'3". Breakfast was great, with lots of healthy options, and robes and slippers were provided. The staff were nice, though they weren't knowledgeable enough to offer tourists advice. It's a perfect base for day trips to the west peninsula.

The staff were warm, professional, and always glad to help, and everything felt very well organized. You can tell they take real care with the quality of service. The atmosphere was welcoming, and I was very satisfied with my stay. I'd happily recommend the hotel and would definitely come back.

The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They helped me find suitable vegetarian dinner options and gave me a guide to town. They also arranged a wake-up call for the northern lights. Breakfast had excellent options, and the restaurant food was very good too, especially the mushroom soup, bread, and range of non-alcoholic cocktails.

Seeing the Northern Lights from the hotel parking lot was an unforgettable bonus. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Hamar, and Tyna at reception made it even better. She helped us choose room options ahead of time, then went out of her way at check-in to get the best setup for our family group. We’d happily recommend it for the service and the stay.

For a Globus tour, I expected a bit more. The rooms were decent and the food was okay, though the main course wasn’t what I’d expected. The TV didn’t work, and there was no coffee before breakfast, so I had to make instant coffee in the room. It wasn’t quite the same.
