Teigur Guesthouse

The living room and bedrooms were nice, and the shower was good, though the hot water had a sulfur smell. They also have laundry machines if you need them. The highlight was the sweet older couple who welcomed us and explained the house and the town. They even gave us a whole presentation, which was pretty funny. We also borrowed their two bikes for rides around town. You can tell they care about the place.

The hosts really made the stay. They were lovely and helpful, and were happy to answer questions about the area or everyday life in Iceland. The accommodation itself was clean and felt like a home. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and there was plenty of parking in the yard. Thanks for having us.

The rooms, kitchen, and bathroom were all clean, and laundry was available. The guesthouse felt homey, and we got a warm, friendly welcome. I was in Akranes for work for a couple of nights, and Teigur guesthouse worked out perfectly.

We got tips on where to eat and where to find things around town as soon as we arrived. There was also a breakfast basket in the fridge that we could help ourselves to, plus a fully equipped kitchen. The people were super nice, the place felt warm and cozy, and everything was spotless. This was our eleventh booking on our Iceland road trip, and I can really recommend the guesthouse. Five stars, no question!
