Arni at reception was so kind when we arrived late. He served us delicious soup and quickly made a vegetarian one for my husband. Both were excellent. We also found the hotel charming and spotless, with comfortable rooms and a quiet, cozy feel. Breakfast was excellent too, and the price felt like great value for us. We’d recommend it and would gladly return if we visit Iceland again.

We took all our Northern Lights photos on the property, including the last one through our room window. It’s a lovely spot for seeing them. The hotel itself was a calm, relaxing place to stay, with tasty soup for dinner and a good breakfast.

We enjoyed our stay and would choose this place again when we come back. The rooms were clean, spacious, and charming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. When my roommate lost a ring near the parking lot in the middle of the night, three people kindly went out into the cold rain to help search. We didn’t find it, but we really appreciated the effort.

We had a lovely night in the Aurora Cabin. The cabin’s design is clever and sweet, with nice attention to detail, and the facilities were good. You can step outside the dome only through the glass door. Breakfast was nice, and the service was good too.

The welcome was warm, and the staff were lovely. The facilities are new, very well maintained, and have all the services you need. It isn’t opulent or known for grand, luxurious facilities, but it’s a hotel I’d make sure to visit on a vacation in Iceland.
