The staff took great care of us, and Friðrik and Swetlana deserve special thanks for their warmth and service. The rooms were spotless, the beds clean, and the mattresses very comfortable. The spa was excellent too. Dinner was outstanding. We had a four-course meal with starters, and every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. You could tell a highly skilled chef was behind it. The food tasted even better than it looked, and the excellent champagne pairings made the meal even better. Afterward, I ordered an Old Fashioned cocktail, one of the best I’ve had. As an Icelander traveling in my own country, this stay really stood out. It’s a classy, high-quality hotel with unbeatable prices. I’d recommend it to Icelanders and international guests alike. A wonderful experience from beginning to end.

The staff were helpful, and the rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. The mattresses are quite hard, so they may not suit anyone who prefers a softer bed. It’s a good hotel in a great location, close to lots of interesting places.

We spent one night here. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious, and the spot is handy for a petrol station, supermarkets, and even a restaurant with a 4.8 rating for dinner. When we struggled with the strong gusts while trying to open the main door, the receptionist noticed and responded right away.

We stayed for two nights, and it was a pleasant stopover. The hotel was clean and well kept, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A small supermarket and gas station are just a short walk away, which was convenient. Breakfast was delicious, with a good range of choices for different tastes. It’s comfortable, convenient, and good value for a short trip or stopover.

The room was clean, which was a plus, but the hotel’s appealing first impression didn’t hold up on some basics. There were no hooks for jackets, no railings on the family room bunk beds, and little storage. There wasn’t even a side table, something I’d expect in budget accommodation.
