The evening buffet cost far too much for what it was. The fish seemed old, everything was barely seasoned, and the marinated meat had way too many herbs. The shower was mediocre and smelled musty, and flies were everywhere. We also weren't told that tea and coffee were free at the hotel but not in the room, so we had to sort that out ourselves. We wouldn't stay here again.
The food was really tasty, and breakfast even had actual orange juice, which earned it the fourth star. The coffee was no good, like it seems to be almost everywhere in Iceland. Our room was small and smelled musty, though the bathroom worked fine. Wi-Fi was very good, with a strong signal, and we used the hotspot too 😄
Breakfast was great, and there was a kitchen for cooking your own food. The guesthouse had a faint smell from the building materials, though. With more than six guest rooms and just one bathroom, the shower could take a long time to become available.
