Eidavellir Apartments and Rooms

The hostal was super duper clean, with a spacious room and a very well equipped kitchen. One thing to keep in mind if you want to cook, arrive early, because if you come late you may have to wait for others to finish, possibly until around 9 pm. I didn't like that there were no recycling bins in the kitchen like at other hostels, so all the trash went into the same bin. Extremely inconsiderate to Mother Earth! Also, the second floor shower was hot, but the water flow was weak and tiny.

The kitchen was adequate, so we could make a nice meal at home. Our apartment was warm, clean, and nice, with everything it said it would have. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

The host was really kind and helpful. There was plenty of room in the common areas, and the spacious rooms had comfy beds and a beautiful view. It felt homey, comfortable, and spotless clean.

The bed was comfortable, though the bathroom was shared. We couldn't select two rooms when booking, and at check-in the host wouldn't discount the second room to offset the extra we had paid.
