North Mountain View Suites

We saw the northern lights from this property, which was close to town but far enough away to avoid light pollution. I thought the upper row might bother me, but it didn't. The larger cabins seem to be in the lower row, with smaller ones, including the deluxe king we stayed in, up above. Such a lovely place, with high-end finishes. I'd stay again without hesitation.

The view from the Jacuzzi was breathtaking, and the apartment was cozy, with great floor heating and a well-equipped kitchen that even had a grill on the balcony. We had a fantastic week here. Staff were wonderful and provided room service each day. The Jacuzzi had a small issue on our first night, but the owner responded quickly and offered complimentary breakfast. We loved the breakfast buffet, especially making fresh waffles in the waffle iron. Our neighbors happened to be quiet, though noise could be a problem. It's a lovely place, and one that makes it hard to leave and explore.

The view was beautiful, and checking in on our own was so easy. Our cabin felt modern and stylish, with plenty of space, clean rooms, comfy beds, and lots of thoughtful touches. A perfect place near Akureyri. We'd happily stay again.

The hot tub was lovely, though it started out warm rather than properly hot. The staff adjusted it quickly and it was just right after that. Breakfast was another treat, especially the fresh, delicious pancakes. We were there for four nights and had one hiccup on the first evening: a blocked shower drain caused some flooding. I messaged the staff, they replied and came right over to fix it. The place was very clean, with an amazing view, and we had a fantastic stay. I rarely write reviews, but this one deserved it. 10/10, we'd definitely come back.
