The owners are really friendly, and the house has everything you need. I had an awesome stay, and it was just right for one or two people. I’d tell anyone to stay here.

A beautiful, comfortable cabin on a farm, surrounded by nature. It was kept in meticulous shape and had every comfort we could think of, including a terrace with a barbecue and a garden jacuzzi with 40-degree water. Such a pleasant place. I highly recommend it, and we’ll be back!

The hot tub was a wonderful way to finish the day, and the owner is a sweetheart who knows the area well and can suggest things to do. The cottages are very well equipped, with a lovely seating area and a fantastic view, a proper kitchen, outdoor grill, and comfortable box-spring beds. Akureyri town center is about a fifteen-minute drive away, and there’s also a lovely swimming pool just across the bridge, no more than five minutes away. The surrounding area is worth exploring, whether you’re going whale watching, visiting the Mývatn area, or heading out for long hikes. We stayed four nights, which felt too short given how much there is to do. A real insider tip for Iceland. 👍

My family and I had everything within easy reach and found the house spotless, so we could just relax and enjoy ourselves. It’s spacious and thoughtfully decorated, with quality details like comfortable beds, a private terrace with a gas barbecue, bathrobes, and a shared outdoor jacuzzi overlooking the valley. A beautifully maintained place with everything you need to feel at home.
