Breakfast was a helpful bright spot: gluten-free bread and cookies were available if you asked, and the staff warmed them in the oven so I could avoid cross-contamination in the toaster. The room itself was tiny, and the whole building smelled strongly of cleaning products. This was the priciest place we booked in three weeks, yet the least impressive. It was just okay, basically a bed for the night. After reading other reviews, I agree I’d rather have booked somewhere else, even if it cost more.

We both had such a comfortable night at this cute hotel during our Iceland road trip. Just one night, but we loved it. Thanks so much! :)

The dinner staff were the worst part of our stay. They were rude, condescending, and unwilling to be flexible. The lobby staff were friendly, but they never let me know the northern lights were out that evening, which was a disappointment. The property was okay, but nowhere near worth the price. I’d recommend choosing another hotel, even if it costs a little more. I was very disappointed with the service and wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was okay, but expensive, probably because of the location. We were on a lower floor and could hear every heavy footstep from above. The ceiling seems so thin that each step sounded like it was right over my head. Terrible.
