The cottage is lovely and small, with a parking spot right outside. It could have been warmer when we arrived, though thankfully the heaters worked very well. We had a good stay, but found it a bit overpriced compared with other cottages we stayed in.

A cottage right by the lake, with the supermarket just a five-minute drive away. You can even watch planes take off and land. The interior is very well maintained. Highly recommend!

Easy communication with the host, and the place was cute, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed except a microwave. The view was a great bonus. Borgarfjarðarhofn is a cute town, and it’s an hour’s drive to see puffins, which I recommend.

The room felt a little small for four people, but it was stocked really well and had everything we needed, including fast Wi-Fi and a toaster. Beautiful location, with little lambs nearby and lots of birds to watch on the water.

The cabin makes smart use of its space, fitting a kitchen, bathroom, small living area, and bedroom into one hut. It’s well designed, looks nice, and works great. The lake view is lovely, and the town is nearby. Best place to stay in this town.
