We stayed in a double room, and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. It was nice having morning coffee with others who appreciate the Western Fjords. Staying here is well worth it if you want time to wander around Flateyri and learn a bit about its history.

There was loads of room on the apartment side, and the hostel had everything we needed, plus a few extras. It even had a foosball table! Sharing one toilet and one shower was a bit challenging, but we still had a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, thanks to the fabulous hosts, with beautiful mountains all around. The village itself is spectacular, and it’s an excellent place to stay.

The owner was kind, and the house had a good kitchen and a very nice shower. It’s in a small town beside a fantastic fjord, close to Ísafiourdur. The price was very reasonable too.
