The house was spotless and nicely decorated, and we really enjoyed staying there. Rosa, the owner, was lovely and very helpful. The cottages are in a fantastic spot near Selfoss.

We used this clean, modern place as our base because it was so centrally located. Each day we set off in a different direction for great hikes, beaches along the southern coast around Vik, and northern waterfalls and geysers. We absolutely loved our stay.

Rosa gave us fantastic service, and the whole family loved both the cottage and its surreal, beautiful setting. What she has created is a credit to her country. We’ll be back, Rosa. Have a great Christmas and a happy New Year. Honestly, I almost don’t want to leave a five-star review in case more people find the cottages and I can’t get back in. That’s how good they are.
