The guesthouse was easy to find, and the key was waiting in a box by the door. The owners communicated well before we arrived. Everything was spotless, from the lounge and kitchen to the shower and toilet. The kitchen had what we needed, plus BBQ equipment, and there was good WiFi, parking, and comfortable beds. I did wait about five minutes for the hot water to come through, but the stay was great in a beautiful part of Iceland.
The wind was the one downside. The building is quite exposed, and it made a huge amount of noise in both of our bedrooms. Otherwise, we loved the place and would have stayed longer if we hadn't been driving around the island. The location and views were perfect, parking was easy, and the rooms and living area were lovely, with all the amenities we needed.
Very comfortable and clean apartment, with all the facilities we needed. Parking was close to the house. I'd recommend it.
