Thank goodness for that show. The house still feels like that, and you're the only thing I can think of, the only thing you can get.

It was clean and peaceful, and the location and atmosphere were both great.

The owner was really kind and even showed us their living room, which had a lovely view. It’s close to the town centre and good value for money. There’s a kitchen available, but bring your own food and coffee or tea. Our room was on the second floor up a small staircase, so pack a small bag if you can. We had a very heavy suitcase, and that was a mistake.

The rooms and shared spaces were clean, and the host was kind and helpful. A good guesthouse near Reykjavik.
