Guesthouse Hamar

The bed was really comfortable, and everything was close by. We drove around the island, then walked to the shops and out for dinner.

Everything went smoothly. Nice room, with a newly fitted toilet and shower right in it.

The location was great, and our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was included, a small but nice spread. The bathroom, though, was tiny, especially the shower, where an adult barely fit. Amenities were sparse, just one small towel and pillow per person and some kind of body wash. There’s no elevator, so carrying our suitcases up to the third floor was a surprise. Nobody was at the desk when we arrived; our key had been left out with a note about breakfast and checkout. In the morning we had to find someone so we could check out and pay. We stayed one night while visiting the island.

The breakfast was really, really nice, and the location made it easy to walk to lots of places. Our room was clean and roomy, with a comfortable mattress, though the bedding and pillows felt a bit small. In the evening there was no staff around to check us in or answer questions. The keys were simply left out, so we took ourselves up to the rooms. We’d definitely stay again.
