Ranga Hotel

We didn’t stay at the hotel, just stopped in for lunch. The deer carpaccio, fish of the day, which was cod, and the ice cream were all really tasty. The staff were kind and ready to help. There are great views from the property, and the bear at the main entrance was spectacular.

Thanks so much for the caring service. We arrived late after our trip, and the staff greeted us and had everything we needed ready. Every person we met was friendly, professional and supportive. The attention to service and little details really stood out to me. It was a short stay, but profoundly nice, and I can recommend the hotel 100%. Thank you again!

The Northern Lights wake-up call really worked. The aurora alarm rang and we got to see beautiful lights, which was magical. We also appreciated the lovely amenities and left feeling happy and grateful. The only small thing I’d suggest is making the outdoor hot tubs a bit warmer, since they felt slightly cold. Hotel Rangá is a charming, elegant property that feels worthy of a luxury cabin experience, and we enjoyed every moment. It was very clean and well maintained, with attention to detail throughout. The restaurant was excellent, with delicious food and friendly, attentive staff. Reception were wonderful, especially the young lady who helped with all our questions. The astronomer was kind and knowledgeable, which made stargazing memorable, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. For a first visit, I’d strongly recommend renting a car. The hotel is quite remote, and having your own transport makes the trip much easier.

The breakfast spread was unbelievable, and the dinners were probably the two best meals I’ve ever had. That’s what made this hotel so spectacular for me. I stayed in February and saw the Northern Lights on both nights. The remote setting is gorgeous, with incredible views from everywhere. Unforgettable.
