Eyri Seaside Houses

We had two adjoining rooms for our family of six adults in October. The seaside wind was strong, as you’d expect, but the houses have a good high tech insulation system. The kitchenette was practical for a small house. A really good stay, I recommend it 👍

The bedding here was the best I’ve had in Iceland, and the cottages were lovely and comfortable. After seven days driving around the island, these have been my favorite place to stay so far. They’re newly built, with a cute living area and windows looking out over the water.

The spot on the hill gives you beautiful fjord views, and there’s a chance to see birds, seals, and even whales nearby. Our clean, well-equipped unit worked well for our family, and the customer service team was always ready to help. We also appreciated being close to Hvammstangi attractions like the Icelandic Seal Center. The houses are modern and made for a peaceful Northwest Iceland getaway, with a lovely mix of nature and comfort. We had a dream of a stay at Eyri Seaside Vacation Houses!

The cottage felt brand new and was super clean, with a great view across the bay. It’s only a couple of meters from the water, such a perfect location. Very comfortable too. Loved it!
