B&B Guesthouse

Just three days before our flight, we were left without a place to stay or airport transport. We had booked this property because it offered a transfer, and finding somewhere else in midsummer at short notice was difficult. We ended up paying a lot more for both a room and transfers. This happened after the property messaged us four days before check-in saying we needed to cancel. When we didn't, they kept sending messages asking us to cancel, then cancelled the booking themselves.

A handy place to stay before an early flight, but we couldn't get on the free airport shuttle even though we booked it ahead of arrival. It was already full. Luckily, we managed to call our car rental company, return the car early in the morning, and catch their shuttle to the airport.

We had a twin room with a shared bathroom and toilet. There were two of them on our floor, and both were very clean. Our room also had a sink with hot and cold water. There was a TV up near the ceiling, though it wasn't plugged in. Breakfast was included and available from 3AM, and we could use the kitchen to cook or warm food and make coffee. The guest house is about a 10-minute drive from the airport, with free pickup or drop-off available.

The rooms were nice, though the bathroom is shared, and the airport is nearby. Breakfast was the letdown: not much to choose from, and it felt like we were using somebody else's kitchen. We were still hungry afterward. Also, with heavy luggage, be ready to carry it up the stairs.
