We didn't try the hot tub, but it's available to guests and sounds like a nice way to unwind after exploring. We cooked in the well-stocked kitchen, which had everything we needed, and slept well in the comfortable bed. Our room at Guesthouse Hvítafell was pleasant, and the location worked very well, just a short drive from Geosea, which was a highlight and a must-visit for us. A welcoming, practical place to stay in this part of Iceland.

We had room 1 in one of the three cottages. The host was quick to respond, and the room was spacious with strong WiFi. The walls are a little thin, and there were some bugs outside.

We could see the Aurora from the guesthouse and tub, and it was beautiful. There's only one tub, though, and it's first come, first served. On the first night, someone stayed in it for hours. Luckily we were there more than one day and got to use it the second day. The house had a decent number of kitchen essentials.

Even in -13 degree weather, the hot tub was amazing. The room's back window looked out on such a peaceful, beautiful scene, and the kitchenette had plenty of utensils and appliances. It's a lovely little place, tucked away from the main road but still easy enough to reach.

We loved the house and hot tub. We meant to stay just one night, but a snowstorm kept us from continuing north, so I asked the host if we could add another night. The room was clean and nice, and the kitchen was well equipped. It was snowing in early October 😁
