The neighborhood was a highlight for me. We could easily walk to the harbor, city center, restaurants, and bars. The house was pretty, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds, so it would work well for a large family. The kitchen had plenty of room to work, and the second-floor bathroom was modern and comfortable. Our host, Jon, was very helpful at check-in. A superb place to stay in Reykjavik.

We were right in the heart of the old downtown, and the king-size beds made for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was nice to cook in. There could've been a few more pillows, but I'd still highly recommend it.

A great kitchen and a lovely location made me wish I could give this place another star. I only wish the kitchen knives were sharper. What really brought the rating down was getting locked out the evening before our early departure. Waiting for a locksmith was stressful, and we lost sleep when we still needed to pack.

We chose an apartment for our 2018 Iceland honeymoon because it cost less than hotels. I was a bit wary at first, but the neighborhood turned out to be great, with embassies on the block. It was warmer than usual, and without AC the place felt a little damp in the evenings. We made breakfast in the kitchen every morning. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The beds were really comfortable, and this Airbnb was extremely clean. It's in a great central spot, about a 10-minute walk to downtown Reykjavik.
