The owners were quick to respond and incredibly accommodating after we’d had a terrible check-in at another hotel. We also loved how easy it was to walk to the main street, with its restaurants, shops, and bakeries. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend this place.

A really handy base in Reykjavik, with the bus stop nearby and shops and restaurants only about a five-minute walk away. The accommodation was comfortable and clean, and the kitchenette had what we needed to cook.

We liked having a kitchen area that was sufficient for our needs, and my husband was especially pleased with the longer bed. Shopping and dining are just two blocks away, while bus stop 14 is about a 15-minute walk for Flybus or tours. The stairs to the top floor were narrow, steep, and winding. If we’d known, we would have asked for a lower floor.

The studio was a good size, with room to cook, and it’s really well placed near the centre of Reykjavik. Having a washer and dryer was useful too. The shower drain smelled because it’s open, and there isn’t much ventilation. You can open the windows, but have to shut them before going out. Still, it was a great place to stay.

You can walk to see everything around the city from here. The place has all the basics I needed, including a small kitchen, a bath, and comfortable beds. A perfect place to stay in Iceland!
