The accommodation was good and close to the main center. One tip: make sure your shuttle driver has the address and knows which Aurora you mean. Two different drivers told us we had the wrong place and that they knew where they were going, then took us to another guesthouse with a similar name.

I had a horrible experience. My mother died, so I called three days ahead to cancel my reservation. They wouldn't refund me or even move the booking to another date.

The apartment was cozy, well equipped, and right in the middle of Reykjavik, with a lovely view of the mountains and part of the harbor. Wi-Fi was included and very fast, and they provided tea and coffee, including Senseo pods. The apartments make a great place to stay in the city. One thing to know if you're not Icelandic: cold tap water is excellent for drinking and restaurants serve it free. Hot tap water smells strongly of sulfur. It's not supposed to be toxic, but it takes a little getting used to.
