Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik City Centre

For our sister trip, this hotel was a great fit. We could walk to different neighborhoods, shops and restaurants, and the place was clean, warm and cozy. The rooms were quiet, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was amazing, with something for everyone. All the staff were welcoming and accommodating. Special thanks to Jasmine, who handled a last-minute booking change efficiently and persistently. I’d highly recommend staying here.

The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, and there was a mini fridge in the room. We didn’t have noise issues with the windows open, though we were there on weekdays. There’s no parking, but street parking was easy enough to find, and we paid through the Parka app. They also offer a complimentary takeaway breakfast if you have to leave before 7am, which was a lovely touch. The Hilton’s location was amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It could get a little warm without a thermostat, but opening the windows and using the fan in the room helped.

The staff were great, and I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with shops and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Bus stop #6, where all the tours pick you up, is just a couple of minutes away. Booking breakfast saves time, and it’s delicious. I chose this hotel because the Hilton chain is reliable and this one is right in the heart of town.

The location is just right, five minutes’ walk to downtown and five minutes to a tour pickup point. We had a lovely stay in this quirky boutique hotel. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the rooms kept out noise well, so we slept great. The breakfast buffet had something for every taste, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.
