I never take time to write reviews, but this place is awesome. It’s clean, quiet, and well laid out, with a self-service bar and a hot tub. They’ve thought of everything, and it has all you need. I’d give up a little space and share common areas for the location and amazing staff any day. It’s better than many airbnbs I’ve stayed in, even though those could have had all these touches and didn’t.

The service stood out most, with staff who were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. CityHub was also very clean, and my room was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. It felt like everything had been planned well. The location is excellent, close to the city center and right by the main pickup stops for excursions and the airport. I loved staying here and would definitely return and recommend it.

For the price, this hotel is amazing. I felt safe traveling solo, and it’s in a perfect spot near lots of restaurants and convenient bus stops for tour pickups. The bathrooms were clean, and I never had to wait to use one. The room is a great size if you keep your belongings organized. Highly recommend!

CityHub Reykjavík is right in the city center, steps from shops, cafés, restaurants, and bus stops, so it makes a very practical base. It delivers what it promises: modern, efficient, and thoughtfully designed. If you’re over bunk beds and capsule hotels but still want somewhere minimal, stylish, and budget-friendly, this is a strong option. The design is clean and contemporary without trying too hard, and things just work. The lobby and communal spaces are comfortable and nicely designed, good for relaxing, working, or casually meeting other travelers. There’s also a self-service bar with tea, coffee, and alcohol. The kitchen is basic, with only a microwave and no cooking, but it’s manageable to pick up ready-to-eat food at the supermarket and warm it up. The shared bathrooms are well maintained, with free shampoo, shower gel, and body lotion. They’re Rituals, which is a surprisingly nice, premium-feeling extra at this price. The hot tub is open from 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM, so you can drop in to unwind after a cold day in Reykjavík. The reception staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, and special thanks to Storm for great recommendations and going the extra mile.
