Hotel Lotus

The room was quiet and clean, and breakfast was included, delicious, and filling. We also had plenty of free parking, which was handy with a rental car. When we had trouble with the coded door on arrival, someone responded quickly and helped us. We then realized we hadn't checked our email that day, and they had upgraded us at no charge. Would definitely recommend.

I arrived before check-in time for just a one-night stay, and the staff member still welcomed me. She checked that my room had been cleaned so I could get in early, then pointed out tourist spots nearby. Since I had to leave very early for my flight, she said I could ask the clerk for a sandwich to take along the next day. I didn't get to try breakfast, unfortunately, but I'll book here again on my next trip to Reykjavik. Please excuse my belongings in the photos.

After a long night of travel, we tried our luck asking for an early check-in. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. The hotel was clean and well kept, with a modern, cozy feel. Their breakfast buffet was great too. I'd highly recommend it to visitors, 10/10.

We spent two nights here with friends. The rooms were very clean and smelled nice, and the hostess was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and there was a cozy veranda. At any time, we could have tea, coffee, or cocoa with cookies in the hotel restaurant. I'd absolutely recommend it and would stay here again on my next trip to Iceland.
