Our flight was delayed, so we arrived at the guest house late, around 11 P.M. They'd left the key and instructions on where to find everything we needed. It felt like home, and the beds were so comfortable that I slept better than at home. Fantastic stay, and a very good choice if you're on a budget.

Valla was so welcoming, and the place was spotless with really comfortable beds. We also needed to leave our backpacks somewhere for a while after checkout, and she let us. We found it at very short notice and felt lucky to have it. I’d happily recommend it to anyone staying in Reykjavik.

The kitchen was very well equipped, and the stay was neat and tidy for the price. It’s a shame some guests left the kitchen dirty instead of cleaning up after themselves, but that wasn’t the owner’s fault.

We’d love to come back. Laugabjarg Guesthouse was clean, comfortable and felt safe, with a great location. Valla was a delightful hostess.
