Breakfast at Snaps Bistro was a lovely extra, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which was spotless and felt like home right away. Having the living area upstairs was especially nice, although the decor seemed a little plain. The woman who cleaned our room was very helpful. We had a very pleasant stay.

The beds were clean and the stay was comfortable, with lots of space in the rooms and a great location. The place does feel dated, though. It was most noticeable in the bathrooms, where there was quite a bit of dust and some discoloration.

My standard room had a balcony, which was nice for stepping outside to take night pictures of the church. There was a smell in the room, though, and I think it may have come from the bathroom's sewage system.

The breakfast buffet was one of the best we had on our trip, and the hotel made a comfortable starting point for our vacation. We arrived in Iceland early on our first day and had time to explore the city. Everything was close enough to walk to. We couldn't check in yet when we arrived, but the gentleman we met was very friendly. He explained how to park and use the app, and let us leave our luggage. Definitely recommend.

The room was clean and the service was good, but the bathroom was small. The shower tub in particular could barely fit an average-sized adult.
