A quiet, cosy place with comfortable rooms, and we had an easy time using the self check-in. We stayed two nights and found the kitchen well equipped. It's close enough to the city center to walk to places like the church and Rainbow Street.

We had a really enjoyable trip, and the place had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the rooms were clean and cosy, and tea, coffee, and a little carton of milk were provided. The bathrooms were clean and had underfloor heating. It's warm inside and only a couple of minutes' walk from town. Highly recommend 👌

We had a fantastic stay in a wonderful location. The room and the rest of the house were pleasant and spotless. When we left our car keys in the room, the host went above and beyond to help us. A huge thank you!

The rooms aren't something I can comment on, since I never made it to Iceland. My airline went bankrupt, forcing me to cancel for reasons outside my control. Refurinn Guesthouse Reykjavík wouldn't refund me, which I understand may be outside its policy, but I hoped we could find some understanding. I then asked to move the booking dates and was refused again. I regret having to leave this review, but I felt completely overlooked. At no point did they show concern or try to help me as a person.

The room was so small there was nowhere to put our bags, which would be awkward for more than one night. Being close to the center is handy, though city noise can be an issue. The building itself was clean and very well kept. There are plenty of toilets and showers, all in great condition, and the kitchen is well equipped, if rather small for the number of guests. It's about a ten-minute walk to the city center.
