The room worked well for my early bus to Keflavik airport. It had its own bathroom, a good bed, and two white towels, though one wasn't completely white. The windows sat a little above ground level because the room was partly below street level. Check-in and check-out were easy to do myself. I only stayed one night and arrived in the evening, so I didn't see anyone connected with the property. The city center was a 15-20 minute walk, depending on your pace and destination. Reykjavik local airport is just behind the BSI bus station, so you can hear air traffic until a certain hour.

For a short stop between connections, this place did the job. I had two twin beds, one a bit soft and the other just right. They let me leave my luggage before check-in, which was helpful. The BSI station is right across the street, and the main town is about a 20-minute walk away. You get a code to enter, then leave the key when you head out. I'd recommend it if you need to catch an early airport bus.

The rooms were clean, and it was perfectly adequate for our one night after arriving late at KEF. Being near the BSI was what we needed.

I was worried by the Google reviews, but I ended up having no complaints. My private-bathroom room looked new, clean, and modern, much better kept than a lot of hotel rooms I've seen.
