It was clean and tidy when I left, and the kitchen had plenty of equipment for a hostel. The common room had a nice feel too. But winter in this part of Iceland is brutally cold 🥶, so sharing the place with just two other people that night meant I could get a second blanket. Check-in didn’t work: nobody was there when I arrived that evening, and no one answered the phone. The location is fine for a hostel.

The artwork throughout the hostel is great, and the bathroom was clean and tidy. We came with our camper in winter and were surprised by how cozy and well equipped everything was for camper guests too. We cooked in the very well equipped kitchen, then spent a warm evening in the common room. A great place to stay.

We slept in our camper van, but ended up spending time inside because it was so cozy and comfortable. The place is really cool and eclectic. There was free Wi-Fi and one free cup of coffee in the morning, and the kitchen had pretty much anything you might need. Showers were included, though I didn’t try them.

The hostel has a really chill feel, with a cool interior design. While we were there, local people put on a concert with live music and singing, and it made us feel included in the community. It’s a great stop on an Iceland road trip, surrounded by quiet, beautiful scenery.

Wow, what a place! The decor is next level, and there’s so much going on in the lounge. An absolute gem! I’d shoot my next horror film here. Just kidding :)
