Thoristun Apartments

These little places feel like studio flats or tiny homes. The church is right opposite, so look for it when you're finding the property. We visited in June 2019, and it was handy for restaurants and supermarkets. The bed was large, there's a sofa, dining table, big TV, and room to sleep up to four. The kitchen has the basics and good cooking facilities. The shower was excellent, with toiletries and a hair dryer provided, along with towels. The blackout blinds worked well and the Wi-Fi was fine. Since the place is unmanned, payment has to be made by card in advance.

I slept really well in the bed, and the service was very good, with help available whenever we needed it. The apartment has three rooms and made for a nice rest. The kitchen is small, though it has everything you need. Fresh air was tricky: with the windows closed it felt stuffy, but opening them made the room too cold at night.

The Nintendo Ness with what I think was over 200 games was a fun extra, though sadly I couldn't find Zelda. The beds sit pretty high but they're comfortable, and everything looked clean and nice. The kitchen has what you need, even if it's a bit small. The bathroom is lovely, just be careful with your right elbow because the wall is right beside the toilet. I'd definitely recommend visiting.

Gudrun was so kind and helpful, and we had a really good stay. The location is idyllic, and the clean studios are well equipped. The bathroom floor was heated, which was amazing. We'd definitely come back.
