Haukaberg House

I saw my first auroras here. It’s a beautiful, calm, peaceful little community, and the home was lovely, comfortable, and full of warmth.

Our self-contained studio had everything we needed, including a lovely espresso machine. There’s lots to see and do nearby.

You can feel how much care the owners put into every corner. The decor was modern and lovely, and our beds were super comfortable. I even took photos for ideas to decorate my own home. Thanks for a great stay!

We felt amazing here from the minute we arrived. The place was clean, cozy, and nicely designed, and we loved your cat. The host also shared some lovely moments with us, which made the stay feel more special. Elin was an amazing person to have a connection with in Iceland. More than a week before our planned stay, we panicked because we thought we’d missed the pickup for a tour in Reykjavik, and our phones couldn’t make international calls. She called on our behalf and helped us a huge amount. Such a lovely example of Icelandic hospitality. Thank you! We found this place by chance and are so glad we did. It’s listed on Airbnb and booking.com, though booking directly was the best value. 100% recommended.
