Breakfast was fantastic, especially the owner’s rhubarb jam and the tuna spread. The host was communicative, and the place felt cozy and friendly. The restrooms and showers were all very clean, and check-in and checkout were easy. There was also a common kitchen with everything you need. We’ll come back.

Of the nine places I stayed, this was my favorite. The room wasn’t very big, but it was cozy and had enough space. It’s an absolutely grand place to stay, and the breakfast was amazing.

Dinner cost a little more, but after a long day of exploring, we felt it was worth it. The property is beautiful, and the person at reception was delightful and hospitable. Our double room had enough space for the two of us and our two suitcases, and having a sink in the room was convenient. The shared bathroom was clean and worked well. We’d recommend staying here and would return if we’re in this part of Iceland again.

Surrounded by a farm with sheep, horses, and other animals, this peaceful guesthouse has an authentic local feel. It’s just before Vik, and we loved the rural atmosphere. Breakfast was generous, delicious, and filling, and the staff were warm and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. Highly recommended if you want beautiful surroundings, a cozy countryside stay, and friendly hospitality.

The breakfast was okay, maybe good. The rooms weren’t nice, more like outdated, poorly maintained cabins set inside a barn.
