The house was comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very nice too. I was a little uneasy beforehand because I hadn't received the room details or passcode two days ahead, as I had at other places booked through booking.com. You hear stories about people arriving to find there's no room. In the end, we called the owner when we got there, and someone brought the key within five minutes, so everything worked out.

The hut is small, but it has most of what you need, and the room sizes were fine. The heater gets really hot and kept us warm. There’s a large deck and a BBQ pit for parties, though it was too cold for us to use them.

It was a clean, cozy place for five people, and we had a pleasant stay. We booked it because options were limited and it was the cheapest. For check-in, find the owner at the main farm and give him your name from the booking. He’ll take you to your cottage. The guard dogs might look intimidating, but don’t let them scare you 😂

The place itself is beautiful, and with proper upkeep it could deserve five stars. But after reading all the five-star reviews, I wondered whether I'd stayed in the same place. I can't give it just one star because of the setting, but the maintenance was poor. The bathroom smelled bad, its window was nearly broken and covered in mould, and the toilet seat lid was broken and patched with tape. The cottages showed plenty of other signs of neglect too, including the window handles and shower. For the price, this level of upkeep isn't acceptable. There weren't even four of each basic item, like cutlery and glasses, despite the cottage being for four people. The toilet paper roll was already half used, there was leftover shampoo from someone else, and there was no body wash at all. This is basic professionalism, and the landlady has been running the place for almost 10 years.
