The owner was one of the nicest people you'll meet, and he also runs a great 4x4 van tour that I'd highly recommend. The guesthouse itself is warm and cozy, set in a stunningly beautiful part of Iceland. There's also a very sweet dog with puppies.

The view from this hillside guesthouse, at the end of a dirt road, is of a stunning valley. It takes a bit of driving to get there, but I thought it was absolutely worth it. Inside, the place is cute and cozy, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The owner is kind and knowledgeable about the area, and his 4x4 tours are amazing. We were lucky to be there while his dog Rose had one-month-old puppies. They were sociable, sweet, and lots of fun to play with. Of course, puppies won't always be part of a stay, but they were a lovely bonus.
