Getting around is the main drawback here. A car is close to essential, since there isn't much nearby and the bus options are awkward. The couple of small supermarkets we found had only a few basics. The apartment itself is very nice for a fair price, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It has two AC units; the kitchen and furnishings worked fine, while the bathroom was okay but could use a little attention.

The location is pleasant, with a nice balcony, and the restaurant downstairs is very good. The apartment is in an older building, though, and several things could use more care. The fridge door panel and toilet seat weren't secured properly. Pots and pans were old and mismatched, and their handles got too hot to pick up while cooking. Cleaning supplies were mixed together, so it wasn't clear which were for the dishes and which for the bathroom. The kitchen gear and bathroom were also not in the best condition. There was also a frustrating address issue. The listing gives number 11, which is actually the prettier neighboring building. The apartment building is number 15, where the restaurant is on the ground floor, though you can't see it from the third floor. I prefer clear communication and don't like seeing an incorrect house number listed, whatever the reason. With some more TLC and the correct address, this would be better. That's why I can only give it 3 out of 5 stars.

We felt safe, supported, and genuinely looked after during our two weeks at Casa Vitale. Yannick and Ryan have made a wonderful getaway, and in just a few years they've become part of the special community in Nosara. They're around when you need them but otherwise stay out of the way. That level of care is hard to find. Highly recommend.

The view over Aci castello is one of the best parts of this place. The apartment was really comfortable, and we loved staying there. A very good experience.

The terrace has a great view, and the apartment is comfortable. Our host was nice too.
