Elio made check-in and check-out easy and was quick to answer our WhatsApp questions. When our flight was moved an hour earlier, we messaged him around 10 p.m. the night before to ask about leaving sooner, and it was no problem. We’d gladly stay again. The apartment was clean and well kept, with comfortable beds, two toilets, a shower, a bath, and a kitchen with all the essentials. It’s on the 7th floor and roomy enough for 6+ people, with a rustic Sicilian feel. We were just outside the city centre. On Saturday, we walked to the main square and caught the local festivities. Mount Etna and the sea were both about 30 minutes away, and we especially liked Pozzillo. We had a wonderful time at Casa Giolele. Thank you, Elio, and thank you, Acireale!

Elio was polite, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. He even came to our aid after a mishap in Catania, and we really felt at home. The house was lovely and spotless, with a spectacular view of the sea, and it’s very close to Acireale’s historic center. I hope I can come back soon.

Elio was friendly and could suggest places to visit, as well as connect us with guides for trips to Mount Etna. The house itself is spacious and practical.
